Say hello to the newest member of Education Cubed. Richard Webb joins the team as Head of Digital Operations. What he doesn’t know about the world of digital isn’t worth knowing. With experience of working in livery companies in the City of London, fast-paced digital start-ups and private equity investment analytics, Richard brings a deep understanding of all things digital to the team.
Able to deliver website, iPhone and iPad apps whilst handling digital ad production and delivery, he is just as comfortable managing large-scale digital projects and developing social media strategies for a wide range of brands and companies. Starting his own web development consultancy taught him everything he knows about business and led him to develop his knowledge of agile methodologies, internal processes, handling six-figure accounts and improving efficiency.
With a dad who ran his own advertising company, brushing shoulders with the likes of Saatchi & Saatchi, Bartle Bogle Hegarty and Ogilvy & Mather, advertising clearly runs in his blood. Oh, and he’s got a Masters Degree in Fine Art from the University of Brighton. We think Richard is the perfect addition to our team.
Talking about his move to Education Cubed, Richard said, ‘I’ve always dreamed about working in the industry, but somehow gravitated towards technical project management. So it feels great to finally be making the jump into the advertising world and in particular, the Higher Education sector. I’m really looking forward to getting stuck in.’
Speaking about his appointment, Jo Redfern said, ‘Richard brings many years of technical experience to our team. His background is in advertising operations, but he has developed some impressive project management and leadership skills in recent years. It’s exciting to have someone join the team who has such an interesting set of skills. He’s a top bloke too.’
